Der Macher des Films ist Daniel Thouw, der in letzten 6 Jahren zu Spots auf der ganzen Welt gereist ist und die dortigen Graffiti Protagonisten interviewte und begleitete. Mit von der Partie sind Graffiti Künstler, die inzwischen auf legalen Weg von ihrer Kunst leben, genauso wie Untergrund Aktivisten, die illegal ihre Leidenschaft ausleben.
Tags, throwups and pieces are part of almost every major cityscape around the world, and are more or less part of our everyday life. AlterEgo takes you to major cities around the world and into the lifes of some very passionate individuals standing behind those written identities, walking the borderline between creation and destruction, art and vandalism.
Daniel Thouw besuchte u.a. Daim (Hamburg), CanTwo (Mainz), Ewok (Los Angeles), Krush (Los Angeles), Smash137 (Basel), Nunca (Sao Paulo), FDC (Hong Kong), Caib (Sydney), Order (Amsterdam) uvm.

A proper part-time job does not occupy students’ too much time. In fact, it is unhealthy for them to spend all of time on their study. As an old saying goes: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
Any government, which is blind to this point, may pay a heavy price.
